Karen Gillan joins Twitter

Cousin It? No it's Karen Gillan.

Social networking site Twitter has gained itself another Doctor Who related user. Amy Pond actress Karen Gillan joined the site on Thursday putting a stop to imposter accounts after being confirmed as genuine by Steven Moffat and Arthur Darvill who also have Twitter accounts. Her first tweet was “Hello twitter...nice to meet you.” followed by “Thanks to everyone following me!!! Argh this is really exciting. Oh, and by the way...WE ARE IN NEW YORK!!!!” She now has amassed a staggering 67, 162 followers at the time of writing. Follow her @karengillan2 for no doubt some crazy tweets.
